I am beautiful. I’ll spare you all the long sob story. In short- I haven’t been able to say those words for most of my life. I’m grateful for the journey I’ve been on that has ultimately led me to what I’ve always wanted - loving myself. I can look at myself now in pictures and see my “flaws”, but I now view them as the beautiful things that make me unique. I bring a different kind of beauty to this world, a beauty like no one else. My first boudoir experience with Emily was nerve wracking going in, and stress free and relaxed leaving it. I was practically giddy from the experience, and the glimpse I got from the photos was validating. Being a single, plus size woman I did get taken aback looks from friends and family when I told them what I wanted to do, and it was along the lines of who could I be doing this for? I was not confident in my looks, but the shoot was silly, funny and hella sexy and spicy. The pictures made me feel so good about myself, I did not need anyone’s permission and I did it for me.
