I have been thinking about what I tell people are the reasons you should book the boudoir session. I could probably write a novel if I'm honest. But all the reasons really come down to these main 4 that I've highlighted below.

1. You Won't Be the Exception

"I will be the woman who's images will be too ugly". "I am just too fat." "I'm too skinny." "I have too many rolls." "I have no curves." "I can't pose." "I'm not flexible." Let me stop you right there. I have photographed MANY women of ALL skin tones, body shapes and sizes, and ages. Boudoir is not limited to a specific age, body type, height, or color, or what not. The incredible thing about boudoir is that it showcases and highlights the beauty of every woman who steps in front of the lens. So, rest assured, you will not be the exception!

2. Treat Yourself

When was the last time you really splurged on yourself? Why haven't you allowed yourself to be spoiled and pampered? Speaking from experience, I would only do little things for myself - a Starbucks coffee or maybe a new lipstick or earrings. But really splurge on myself? Absolutely not. It that came from a place of deep rooted feelings of worthlessness and not feeling as if I was valuable. The truth is, you do deserve to treat yourself. You do deserve to be spoiled and splurged on. If you have never felt as if you had permission or the okay to be "selfish", this is your sign and permission!

3. Reconnect With Your Sensuality

As a woman, I think many of us have a very warped relationship with our own autonomy and unfortunately, our sensuality. There are so many warring ideas and people telling us how we should and should not feel, how we should and should not act, what is appropriate to wear and not wear, and how much we should enjoy or not enjoy sex. It's demeaning and demoralizing. Boudoir gives you the opportunity to explore that and be comfortable in your own skin. Whether you want to be completely bare as the day you were born or still stay tastefully covered, you have the opportunity to reconnect and discover what YOU feel is BEST for YOU.

4. It's Just Fun

Getting your hair and makeup done? Having a personal hype woman tell you how incredible, strong, stunning, and gorgeous you are? Listening to some of your favorite music and starting to feel good in your skin? Tell me that doesn't sound like a good time! I have loved watching every single one of my clients come in a little timid, a little unsure, but ready to do the session, and walk out absolutely glowing and feeling like they are a Goddess.
