The Beautiful Miss S
Sometimes things don't go as planned. I have so many instances, almost daily, this last month where my best laid plans completely fell through. However, that's when some of the best moments of this past month have happened. When I lived in Ukraine I learned VERY quickly to be flexible and "go with the flow". It's something that has served me so well in my life because I used to be the person that hated change and would struggle with plans breaking, failing, or just not going right.
I plan every boudoir session around each client. In my head I make a game plan of how I will move the furniture in the studio, what outfits I will pull from the client closet, how I want the light to be, what music I'm going to play, and how I'm going to flow from each set to the next. I don't leave things to chance. At least that's what I tell myself. 9/10 times my plan goes out the window during a session because suddenly we find a groove and we want to run with it. And 10/10 times I LOVE IT. (don't judge my math ha ha)
This whole day did not go as I had planned but the incredible Miss S stepped up and this whole hour was MAGIC. The light - perfect. The outfit - perfect. The furniture - perfect. Ugh. So my takeaway is this - even if my best laid plans and ideas fall flat there is still so much AMAZING stuff that can come from that. Enjoy some images from this morning!
